NTPC Recruits Executive Trainees 2009

i would like to know as when would the entrance test be conducted and what will be the syllubus for it.im from the electrical stream.

Hai friends ..This is Khan from Chennai…I wrote NTPC 2009 in Mechanical discipline..Hope that all of U had done well as the paper is relatively easier than last year’s.As the paper is for 170…120 Technical and 50 General aptitude…I had attempted upto 135 questions..I think that I may get around 85 marks…Is this sufficient for clearing the first round..Friends share Ur views with me…

hi friends im from mechanical wrote NTPC test on 12/4/09
ive attempted about 150 questions out of 170. getting about 120 can clear the test or not. also when the results announce of NTPC test.if anyone knows please let me know.

Even I am looking for the expected cut offs.I wrote the same in instrumentation and control stream. I attempted 90 in technical and 35 in non technical. In technical I am expecting a score of around 75 and in non technical 30 which makes the total 105. Do I stand a chance in ntpc. Though I have heard that cut off in technical is too high and can be around 80 marks but I am not sure

i ve not even counted how many ques i ve attempted, mine was nt a nice preparation too either…
so if ne one has got ne info about cut off marks in ele , n in that non technical part, date of results , plz do reply..

when are ntpc et 2009 results going to be released?will they inform through e-mail or will the results be placed in any website?please do inform me.i am eagerly waiting.in which sites we have to check for the results?

i have also attended ntpc-et-09 in HR discipline. i came to know the results will be released in mid of May in their official website-ntpcjobs.net and the same will be indicated thru mail to the shortlisted candidates.

Can anybody tell me what will be the expected cutoff this time for Civil Technical section .I have attempted just 60 Technical questiona with 90% accuracy and so I am worried.I am confident of clearing the non technical section. So can anybody help me figure qut this issue???
