SNAP 2008: Analysis, Answers & Cutoff Dec 21 Test
SNAP Test was conducted from 2pm to 4 pm. The test has 4 sections - General English, Quantitative, General Knowledge and Analytical Reasoning. The detailed analysis and cutoff of the December 21st paper is as followed.

There were 135 questions for 180 marks. There is a negative mark of 25% for every wrong answer. In Quantitive section, there were 35 questions (30 questions for 1 mark & 5 questions for 2 marks). There were questions on graphs, mensuration, speed-distance, probability, ratio and a couple of data based questions.
There were 30 Logical Reasoning question. All the questions were 2 marks each. There were a couple of questions for analytical reasoning, deduction, coding etc. There were 35 questions for English (30 questions for 1 mark & 5 questions for 2 marks). The topics were Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, Correct Spellings etc.
For General Knowledge there were 35 questions (30 questions for 1 mark & 5 questions for 2 marks). Most of the questions were related to business, current affairs and stock market.

What are the experts from entrance coaching centers talking about SNAP 2008?
You can find detailed analysis and solutions of SNAP 2008 from TCYOnline. TCYOnline is a leading online test preparation website. According to them the cutoff is expected to be around 82-84. Time and PT Education are yet to publish any analysis on their website.
According to IMS India, SNAP 2008 test was difficult exam and the cut off will come down. The expected cutoffs will be around 76-80. According to experts from IMS-
- The English section was at par with the last year’s exam.
- DI & DS questions were more involved and required more time to solve
- Reasoning questions were on the tougher side
- A good attempt would be between 90-95 questions
- English paper was mixture of questions like grammar, usage, vocabulary
- GK section was easy and covered a variety of topics
What do candidates feel about the SNAP score?
According to a poll conducted by PagalGuy, majority of the candidates feel that they will get a score between 65 to 85. There were around 460 voters at the time the charts were prepared by Parinama. There were 373 votes for scores from 65 to 85. Around 90 (max votes) candidates felt that their score will hover around 65. This makes us feel that the cutoff can drastically come down. What is my SNAP score?
We have an updated chart for the poll conducted by PagalGuy (the one stop shop for MBA information)-

There were around 747 voters when we took the snapshot. Majority of the candidates voted for a score between 65 and 85 (601 voters, 80%). The maximum votes was for a score around 65 or less (20%). Only 146 (20%) voters thought that they will get a score above 85.

We have an updated graph on SNAP 2008 scores. We have compiled the information both from our site Parinamd and Pagal Guy. Based on the polls majority of the candidates feel that their score will be 75 or less. About 83% of Parinama’s readers voted for a score of 75 or less. While 52% of PagalGuy readers have voted for a score of 75 or less.

i am in BCA final yr and had the SNAPtest 2008 and my expected score is between 40-50. so should i apply for any college of SYMBIOSIS.

hi abhishek u cannot apply for any coll..there are standard cut off limits for each coll in symbiosis..for instance an score of 82+ for sibm…77+ for schrmd….
