TANCET 2009 Application Starts from April 1

Applications are invited for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2009 to be conducted by Anna University on behalf of Govt. Tamil Nadu. This is a common entrance test for candidates who seek admission for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, ME, M.Arch and M.Plan.

Degree program will commence from 2009-10 at multiple colleges under Anna University. Students from other states can also apply for the test, but the admission is subject to eligibility criteria set by the college/university.

The application form costs Rs.300 for general and Rs.150 for SC/ST. There are 2 ways to apply for the exam. Spot Registration can be done by providing necessary documents at one of the centers mentioned in the prospectus. Candidates can also apply online starting from April 1. Last date of Spot Registration and receipt of application is 25-April-2009.
