Free Education to Financially Weak Students



The AICTE has bee empowered to formulate schemes for promoting technical education for women, handicapped and weaker sections of the society. It has been decided to introduce tution fee waiver scheme for women, economically backward and physically handicapped students in technical institutions.

The scheme is proposed to provide tution fee waiver scheme for women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritious students pursing degree or diploma level technical education covering degree programmes in Engineering & Technology, BHMCT, Pharmacy, Architecture, Applied Arts and Crafts and Diploma programmes.
