Delhi University conducted First Online Exam
Delhi University recently conducted its first online test for Environmental Sciences for BSc students. This is the beginning of the reforms DU is trying to introduce for the conduct of examinations. The exam was taken by around 800 candidates at Miranda House and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) College.
The response to this initiative is quite positive. Students found the online tests to be interesting and less tiresome. Even the invigilators have found the exam easy to manage. Only objective questions were asked in the exam. Objective exam definitely help to assess the knowledge of the candidate, but it fails to assess written skills, communications skills, presentation skills etc. Exam like GMAT do have an option assess the written skills of the candidates.
