IIT JEE Extended Merit List (EML) 2009
IIT JEE 2009 has published Extended Merit List (EML). This rank list is prepared by relaxing aggregate cut off. The total number of candidates in the EML will be 6 times as compared to JEE Merit Lists. Candidates in the EML list will not be called for counselling at IIT, IT-BHU and ISMU.
Candidates can apply to various other institutes which provide good courses. There are about 2000 seats in the colleges mentioned below.
- Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (Trivandrum)
- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (Mohali, Pune, Kolkata, Bhopal, Trivandrum)
- Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Society (RGIPT)
- Indian Institute of Maritime Studies (Merchant Navi)
