JIPMER 2009 MBBS Entrance Exam June 7

Approximately 22,700 students will be fighting for 100 First Year MBBS course this year. JIPMER 2009 will be conducted on June 7,2009 across India. The exam centers for the test will be in Puducherry, NewDelhi, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Out of 100 seats 18 will be filled by Central Government Nomination and 26 are reserved under Puducherry candidates. Only 56 seats will be available for other candidates.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is one among the top five medical schools in India and is located in Puducherry (formerly Pondicherry), a town in southern India.
