Fortis Healthcare set to Open Colleges in Metros

The government and private stakeholders are readying to make shoddy health care delivery a thing of the past. As the government is getting set to ease norms and allow private players to set up medical colleges in metro cities, Fortis is all set to monetise the opportunity.

This will also open up a new avenue for growth for the private sector healthcare delivery companies. As Fortis’s medical education business is all set to get a policy boost with its strong metro presence with 22 hospitals, including those of Wockhardt, medical colleges will add to the company’s future growth as quoted in NDTV.
