Indian Institute of Crafts & Design Admissions 2010
The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur has been set up in 1999 by Government of Rajasthan as an autonomous Institute of excellence with a national mandate to act as a catalyst in the craft sector. Since October 2007, it is managed and funded by Ambuja Educational Institute in Public Private Partnership.
1) 4 years Under Graduate Diploma in Craft Design Fired Material Application: Terracotta, Ceramics
Hard Material Application: Wood, Metals, Stone
Soft Material Application: Fibres, Fabrics, Paper, Leather
Eligibility: Clearance in 12th Board by 30 June’10
2) 2.5 years Post Graduate Diploma in Craft Design Furniture & Interior Producducducts
Home Textiles: Floor coverings and Furnishings
3) 1.5 years Post Graduate Diploma in Craft Management and Entrepreneurship
4) 1 year International Programme in Craft Research and Development
Eligibility:
Degree in any discipline such as Arts, Commerce, Science from a recognised university
Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, Clothing & Textiles
Artisans’ wards having completed Higher Secondary and having 5 years experience in traditional crafts
Last date of submission of form is 30th April,2010.The Application Form with the Prospectus is available on payment of Rs. 750/- either in cash or through DD in favour of Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, payable at Jaipur.
