Star Union Dai-ichi ‘New Prabhat Tara’ Child Plan
Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co. Ltd. introduces ‘New Prabhat Tara‘ unit linked to child benefit plan. This plan is intended to provide risk cover on the life of parent to help them secure the future needs of children, which may shatter in event of unfortunate death of parents.
This is a triple benefit plan which accumulates the contribution made by the policy holder till his/her child reaches 25 years of age. Some of the features of the plan include (i) Sum assured on death of policyholder (ii) Waiver of future premium and payment of premiums by company to allow the fund grow as intended by parents (iii) payment of 1% of sum assured every month, subject to terms of the policy.
