Job & Career Sites are Fav with Young Indians

Job and Career/Exam Prep sites are the top choices for young Indian browsers. This is based on a internet poll conducted by Parinama from Feburary 6, 2010 to March 23, 2010. 1055 unique votes were casted.

48% percent of visted job sites frequently. And over 43% visted career/exam prep related sites. Social Networking sites(21%) and Online Music Sites(14%) also got their fare share of votes. News/Gossip sites were visited the least.

There is a growing trend to supplement exam preparation with online test options. This is something new to India. New Job sites are mushrooming every other day clearly indicates that this is a very lucarative business.

The top 10 cities in which Parinama got traffic during poll time are Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Pune, Jaipur and Indore. The visitors fall in the age range of 15 to 25 years.
