IIST ISAT 2011 Answer Keys & Solutions
The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, will conduct ISAT- 2011 on April 16, 2011 at 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. After the exam we will be providing ISAT 2011 Analysis, Answer Keys and Solutions.

- Most candidates felt Physics to be tough this time. Chemistry was the easiest.
- There were 75 questions to be attempted in 3 hours
- According to initial info correct answer will fetch 3 marks and wrong will fetch -1 mark.
IIST 2011 Cutoff
A total of 4740 candidates will be selected based on written test. There are a total of 159 seats for various courses. There will be separate cutoff for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There is no predefined cutoffs. The marks scored by 4740th rank holder automatically becomes the cutoff for the ISAT 2011. There will be separate rank list for General and Reservation Categories.
Maximum marks that be scored for this exam is 225 marks. Approximately over 1 lakh candidates fight for 159 seats. Any score between 150 to 160 should fetch a call from IIST. Most of the candidates who have attempted IIST have also attempted IITJEE. So one can safely assume that top rankers of IIST (also for IITJEE) will go for IIT. Aerospace Engineering is the most sought after course by candidates.
