ISB 2011 Placement Trends Report
ISB has published the details of placements trends for 2011. There is a slight increase in the number of offers and salary for the candidates.
Highlights of 2011 ISB Placements
- Batch 2011: 569 candidates; 552 participates in placements
- 310 companies made 661 offers
- 19% increase in domestic offers and 35% increase in international offers
- Average compensation increase is 2.3 times the incoming salary
- Leading sectors: Consulting (32%), IT/ITES (21%), Banks & Financial Institutions (12%)
- International CTC fell by 6%. Average CTC for 2011 is $121,008 compared to $129, 275 in 2010.
- Domestic CTC rose by 11%. Average CTC for 2011 is Rs. 17,92,715 compared to Rs. 16,12,112 in 2010
- Numbers of companies that participated in placement fell from 346 (in 2010) to 310 (in 2011)
